Text Box: I was born in Peru, NY and graduated from The State University of New York at Potsdam in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and an Art Education Certification through a collaborative program with St. Lawrence University. I became certified by the State of New York in 1982 & after moving to Charleston in 2000, became certified by the State of South Carolina for K-12 Art Education.

I love the outdoors and always look forward to the spring season each year to witness all the new green spartina in the Lowcountry salt marshes. Within the first few days of moving to Charleston I discovered the absolutely magnificent vistas ever changing with the passing of days and seasons. These landscapes and seascapes have sparked my inspiration in capturing the moods and light changes on canvas. Much of my work has been in abstract realistic form or design and I just love lots of color!

I live on James Island with my husband, Len and my daughter, Taylor. After a long hiatus I am returning to painting and my love of art. Art is always at the root of my adventures in this world and I am glad to be along for the ride. I am an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild and Oil Painters of America. This year I have been fortunate to have paintings in the Charleston Artist Guild Signature & Piccolo Spoleto Exhibition Shows and the First Federal Charleston People’s Choice Exhibition.
